A beautiful collarboration between Emily McCarthy + Lowcountry artist Bellamy Murphy has come to life. Channeling inspiration from Bellamy’s beautiful artwork, a unique linen blend fabric was used that captured the artist’s brush technique and vivid details.

“I've always been inspired by Bellamy’s work with her use of color and signature style,” says Founder and Owner Emily McCarthy. “The styles we focused on are easy, breezy, and transitional, just like Bellamy’s style. We were so humbled to work with such a talented artist and beacon in the creative community.”

IN-STORE & ONLINE RETURN POLICY

In-Store Returns
Please note that we updated our return policy as of February 1, 2024. Customers now have 7 days from purchasing their item to return it for a full refund to the original payment method. After the 7 days expire and up to 30 days from the purchase date, we can either exchange your item or offer store credit.

After 30 days have passed, we unfortunately cannot accept your return and appreciate your understanding.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase via text or email. 

 

Items on sale, jewelry, and baby apparel and items are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return or exchange. 


Online Orders

We will happily accept online returns or exchanges on full price, unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags postmarked for return within 10 days of delivery. Once the return has been accepted from our team, we kindly ask that you ship it back to our storefront within 24 hours and send your tracking information via email to hello@batikchicago.com.


Please note that we do not offer free returns.

To be eligible for a return, please email us at hello@batikchicago.com BEFORE sending your order back to us. As, a small business this helps us manage our inventory. After reaching out, kindly ship your order back to us at 3746 N Southport Ave, Chicago, IL 60613. 

You will receive an email from us once we have received your return in-store and processed the refund or exchange. 

Local Pick-Up
We love that we can offer our Chicago shoppers an in-store pick-up option! Please note that this is only available during store hours Wednesday-Sunday.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (special orders or monogrammed items), and gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
